Wrong. Teams with less talent (especially at the QB position) tend to lose more than they win. Just a fact. That's why responsible GMs look to "upgrade" at certain positions. Otherwise, GMs would retain the same sucky players and just rotate coaches. Which certain GMs do to no avail.

He had two winning seasons in NY one was 11-5 and one was 9-7. He is not even .500 as a head coach. Cherry pick that..

One can say that they lost 7 of their games by 7 and under but they also won 3 of the 4 by 7 and under. If he had a great RB, great WR and great QB everyone would expect him to win. That does not make him a good coach.. A good coach, coaches mediocrity to winners.

Tom Coughlin and Bill Belichik come to mind.

Funny...thru approx the first five seasons Ryan took over the Jets he and Couglin shared the same regular season record. Same playoff wins too...four. Coughlin obviously has the edge w/a super bowl win during that span. BUT comparing records straight-up they are both similar but for Ryan's final year.

Sanchez, Vick, Tebow, and Smith have been the QB’s
Decker, Holmes, Cotchery, Burres have been the WR1
Ivory, CJ2K, Greene (rookie), Tomlinson is his twilight have been the RB1’s at one point

Which ones of those are actually good? Decker maybe, he only did well when Payton was throwing to him. If the jets actually had either a QB, RB, or WR that was good to really good, things would be different. Rex coaches great defences, and then the left over money was spent on his offence. It’ll be nice to see him with legit offensive weapons.

Manuel/Cassel, McCoy, and Watkins are the best trio he’s had on offense. Sadly they don’t have a 1^st round pick this yr (traded away in the move up to Watkins), so they could have gotten another WR or (more likely) a MLB to replace Alonso. I don’t know who is projected to go at 19 tho.
