wonder why they would trade him...

Might be a good fit to upgrade the second line....

I don't see this happening. Who would Washington give up in return? Chicago won't be mailing in this season. Kane could be back for finals, so you have to think they are going to go for it. Why wouldn't they just wait til the offseason, since he has 2 years left. He's also a great person to step up in Kane's shoes.
Why not, he's getting 12-15 minutes a game for the last 2 months..... what the hell is up with that?
if the rumours are true, hes on his way out its just a matter of time. if chicago gets the right pieces it might be worth making the move now. if washington offered burakovsky and kuznetsov theyd have to think about it
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

There are a total of zero reasons why to evoke Kuznetsov as a money chip.
Seriously.

I see them dangling Mike Green. I think they've been looking to use him to upgrade another area all season. If the price is right, I can see Mr. Green wearing a new uni and the Caps having a VERY nice top line. But, I agree with your second point: If you're Chicago, I don't really know why you wouldn't move Sharp to a higher line and bide your time until Kaner gets back to it...
.... at least until the offseason.

I still don't see the Hawks moving Sharp now. But I gotta say, if they could get Burakovsky and Kuznetsov back, I'll drive Sharp to the airport myself.

If Chicago is moving Sharp, they will want cheap contracts or expiring contracts in return. The whole reason to move Sharp is because of their cap situation.

Wasn't too bad with naming Ward as part of the mix....still a rumor tough....
The Chicago Blackhawks may be interested in the services of Joel Ward.
That's the rumor according to Tracey Myers of CSNChicago.com as Ward would be part of a package with Patrick Sharp going to Washington. With the trade deadline just two days away, there should be plenty of rumors in the next 53 hours.
