Pondering if I should give up on Kessell and JVR...

Was leaning towards Okoposo and Backes
What do you guys think?

0.15 point per PIM
0.15 point plus/minus
0.04 per Blocked Shots

Lol is this a 2-team league? The FA list is studly. Kessel isn't as good when SOG isn't a cat. Still don't think he's dropable.

Aggressive cap system so you cant load up lol, usually leaves lots of good FAs

What is the cap system? If Kessel has a huge cap hit then perhaps there is more merit to dropping him.

DO NOT DROP KESSEL. Despite the Leafs awful last 5-10 games Kessel remains an elite point producer. He's not all all-round stud but he is a point producing machine which is what your league calls for. If you drop him you will regret it.
I would not be worried about being near the salary cap. Anyone you pick up for Kessel will give you more cap flexibility but unless you can use cap space for some other move it's pointless. cap space by itself has no value.
If you're insistent on divesting yourself of a leaf JVR for Okposo would be an OK swap but seems like a mostly lateral swap.

Callahan has been good value for his cap in my opinion and hes on the first line again with Stamkos so I am hesitant
