I assume it's you and you'll have to "pay extra" for a newly formed Penguin.
Perron could be a very nice fit there.

I don't know.
I DO think Perron will be electric there for his first few weeks.

It's a good risk, IMO.
Not sure how valuable a 2nd rounder is in your league.

It's a keep 8 and they are fairly valuable. I should be able to flip some assets at the end of the year and regain my 2nd round pick.

I've always viewed Perron as an offensive player and a defensive liability.
I don't think he'll play on a line with Malkin if Malkin is a center.

I like him better on the Kunitz-Crosby-line.
It will certainly be interesting when Hornqvist comes back to see the lines juggled.

Regardless, he's now Pit's 3rd best Winger (4th if Malkin is a wing), which makes him a top six guy.
They surely didn't get him to play 3rd line.

Agreed. He'll be in their Top 6 and have an opportunity to put up a fair amount of points for the rest of the season playing with either Crosby or Malkin

Not sure I'd make the trade for long term. Kreider will give you more hits, and I'm not sure Perron will get on the first PP with the big guns.
