Voracek++ for Benn++ win now

I am in win now mode and I am curious if I should send this trade.

IF this gets accepted I would think this would be a big win for me right now. But what are your thoughts before I send this trade off?

A) I don't know if it gets accepted.

B) I like the Voracek for Benn part and think you should maybe make the trade smaller and sell high on Voracek and get Benn on the cheap with maybe one other part. But treat Voracek as a 70pt guy (from here on out) and Benn as a 70pt guy with great peripherals.


C) I like you trying to ship Zucc because I think last year was a one off.

D) I don't like you trying to acquire Keith. The guy is great 1/4 seasons and above average the rest.

I like this deal for you, but not sure how trading Voracek right now is ever part of a "win now" move when he's the one leading the league. It's a good move, but I really don't think it'll be accepted - even Voracek for Benn would probably not be accepted, and the extra pieces you're getting back are much better than the ones youre giving up.

Yeah I agree with others, Voracek even though has the points, a lot of poolies are expecting a regression at some point... Pommy has more value than Zucs and Keith has more value than Faulk/Garrison (name-wise at least). You can certainly try for the deal, but I don't think it's enough for the other owner to hit the accept button with any haste.

I still rather the Voracek side, but looking at your team, you do need to ship out RW to bring in LW and D (maybe even a goalie). Assuming you have Malkin, Giroux, Stamkos and Hall as Center and Wingers, you are loaded at RW. You have 3 of the top RW/C in the league, then have a coming out duet in Voracek and Tarasenko on RW.

I wouldn’t go after Keith; he’s only produced on Olympic seasons. Franson would be a better pick up for less (he gets hits and getting points). I wouldn’t be acquiring a RW in Pomm, you just have too many skilled guys in front of him. I own Stamkos, Voracek, Tarasenko, and Pomm and Pomm sits on the bench A LOT. I would go for Voracek for Benn and see what he says. Everyone has called for Voracek to slow down, yet he’s still on fire. On your team, I rather see a Voracek+ for Benn, so trade Voracek for Shattenkirk level of D-man.

This is on paper a win for you if he accepts, but not a trade that will greatly benefit your team. Steer clear of Keith, and get a cheaper no-name d-man that’s doing just as well.

I guess I should mention that I am in 1st place with a good lead. Should I tinker with success?

If I send scoracek for been straight across would that be a win?

Also....I remember Voracek had a really strong lock out season and second half of last season, could he be a PPG player?

Personally, I don't think he'll keep up his pace, but I think he's a PPG player. This isn't one of those sell-high before his performance plummets. Why mess with success?

Voracek is a PPG, so 46pts in 36 games, 46games left (PPG) = 92pts to finish the season. i say between 80-90pts is a fair guess. Does Benn get back on pace for PPG? he's on pace for 70pts right now, and thats exactly where i would put him, a 68-80pt guy. Only because the team can score 5goals a night one night, then 0 the next. Thus a big range

Will Voracek be a consistent PPG player?

The way Ryan has been playing, if he can slip into your LW, you have nothing to worry about on your LW.
