    Default Kane trade offer

    Marleau for Kane

Thought about countering with either spezza or Nash. Thoughts?

Patrick? I would do that for P.Kane. Not Evander though.

Spezza for Kane gives you the best return. Then Nash, then Marleau.

I am assuming you are referring to Patrick Kane and not Evander Kane.

On the surface, I like Kane better than Marleau. Marleau's numbers have been slipping to around .75-.85 points per game over the last couple of years. Kane on the other hand has been 1 point per game or above 4/5 years.

Based on that I would say take the trade. With that said Marleau has been > 1 ppg and Kane has been way less this year. If you think that is going to change, then make the trade.

As for Nash, he has been consistently streaky :-) He has never had ppg seasons back to back. In fact he has only had 2 seasons with ppg pace and has normally been .65 - .8 ppg. If he gives you Kane for Nash, then god bless you.

As for Spezza, he is a true wildcard in my mind. He has sooo much potential, but seems to lose interest in playing hockey. When the game has his attention, he is really good. It seems to have his attention right now. I got him late in the draft and I see him as one of the reasons why I might win the league. I wouldn't trade him unless I get Kane type of return, but don't think any Kane owners will value him that high. If you can get Kane for Spezza, then I would take just because of consistency. Otherwise hold onto Spezza and hope he produces at ppg pace to give you and me great return on our investments.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:

G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
    D - Yandle, DeAngelo

    W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
    IR+ - Tarasenko

I actually rate Nash at the bottom and then Marleau or Spezza. Of the 3, I think Spezza has the best chance to hit 1 ppg, then Marleau and then Nash, but I also think Spezza has the best chance to get injured or lay a duck where Marleau is the most consistent of the 3. If OP is a risk taker, then he trade Marleau for Kane and hopes that Spezza, Benn and Seguin stay together all season and keep rocking like they are now.
