Re: Bishop leaves injured
Bishop updates.
Ben Bishop has been busy rehabbing his surgically-repaired wrist.
"It's going well," he said. "Slowly but surely, we're getting movement back in it. It's getting stronger each day." He's been working on getting his range of motion back, with resistance training and stretching, two weeks after being in a cast. His left dislocated elbow, which was hurt in early April, is about "90 percent" ready. Bishop plans to start skating in August and to be ready for training camp. Jun 5 - 6:19 PM

Ben Bishop said the 2013-14 season "almost feels like it was incomplete" after he was forced to sit out the end of the year with a wrist injury and a dislocated elbow.
He missed the last three games of the regular season and the first round of the playoffs. Bishop had surgery on his wrist in April to repair a torn ligament and his elbow is close to 100 percent. He expects to be ready for training camp and is projected to start skating in August. The Lightning will probably have to claim a playoff spot in 2014-15 for Bishop to fulfill his unfinished business, but it could serve as motivation during the regular season. Jun 23 - 8:47 AM
