Burakovsky and Kuznetsov
Some Caps prospect reading. For what it's worth:
"Trotz said he intends on opening training camp on Friday with Nicklas Backstrom, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Marcus Johansson as his top three centers. That could mean Burakovsky would need to beat out Jay Beagle or Michael Latta for a roster spot with the Caps. He could also move to left wing if the Caps decide to move Brooks Laich back to center."
And
"That’s why Burakovsky could find himself beginning the 2014-15 season with the Hershey Bears. When asked Friday about new Bears coach Troy Mann, Trotz mentioned that very possibility.
“Our top guys, whether it’s Burakovsky or Chandler Stepheson or one of our young defensemen, they have to get prime ice time,” Trotz said. “They can’t get buried there and that’s where a coach has to work with trying to win games and developing players at the same time.”
