I agree for the most part with MolsonX here. I do like the Bobsey twins for a few more points, though, but I think 70+ may be a mild stretch for them. So all-in-all, I think he almost nailed it.
I'm also not as quick as most to jump on the 'Avoid Eric Staal because he's 30 now' train. He should still be fairly productive, especially if the team around him can figure things out. I think he's just as likely to finish with around 72 points as he is to finish with below-65
Generally agree with the above but i might add
Staal- 70+ seems like a reasonable rebound season
H. Sedin- ditto, but fewer goals.

I see a big bounce back season from the Sedin twins, it's a perfect buy-low opportunity. The team hit rock bottom but now they've cleaned house and are building from scratch, a lot of positive will come out of that which will translate to their best seasons in years. Gaborik will get injured and miss 20 games so I think I'm being generous with his prediction, especially the way the Kings spread around the scoring and especially with all the young kids coming up.
Hank and Dan had 45 & 40 respectively in the lockout season, which is essentially the same point totals as you put up. The year before that they had 81 and 67 (Daniel only played 72 games), so I don't know if 75 & 69 is necessarily their "best season in years" but I see your point. I definitely think they're primed for a bounce back and I like Desjardin at the helm of that team. If they click with Vrbata, I like both Sedins at 75 points.
As for the rest of my predictions, E Staal is safe over 70 (I hope!) and Gaborik is high 50's/low 60's IMO. Staal had a bunch of inconsistencies with his line mates last season so as long as he, Semin and Tlusty can get in a groove he'll be fine. I for one really hope he doesn't shift to LW and have Jordan as his center!

I agree with a big bounce back for the Sedins, given the new coaching direction and the Vrbata signing - both these should result in an improved PP, which was awful under Torts, no way these guys are going to score only 18 PPPs next year - that plus the removal of the Kesler distraction (although that could also hurt their ES production):
H Sedin 75
D Sedin 73 (with 34 goals)
I see some improvement for Staal, but the way he ended the season doesn't tell me he's going to get back anywhere close to PPG, especially having undergone sports hernia surgery (he should be ok but core injuries like that can linger) - add to that the uncertainty around the Canes PP, how much more effective will it be after having finished near the bottom of the league the past two years?
Staal 67
For Gaborik, I see a big return to his form from those successful Rangers seasons - won't be nearly as high point totals given he's older and the balanced scoring in LA, but definitely higher than what some are projecting given the great chemistry with Kopitar that I see continuing into next year:
Gaborik 71 (with 38 goals)
Of course this is premised on a largely healthy season, which is impossible to guarantee, but I think he'll have a reasonably healthy season - they'll take precautions with him when soreness pops up, given that they want to preserve him over this new contract.
Call me optimistic!
