Gaborik for me. His upside just makes it so much more painful when he misses 50 games.
Marian Gaborik
Tobias Enstrom
It's down to Marian Gaborik vs. Tobian Enstrom in the battle to determine fantasy hockey's most frustrating "rest of the worst" player to own, and to see who advances to next week's semi-finals of the tournament to crown fantasy hockey's most frustrating player.
Gaborik for me. His upside just makes it so much more painful when he misses 50 games.

Gaborik. I owned both in one league (autodrafted) last year and had similar frustration with them. But Gaborik's struggles/injuries affected me more, whereas I accepted that Enstrom's previous value is declining and now don't expect a lot from him.
Gaborik hands down.. He had so much promise yet all he had was mostly injuries..

I went with Gaborik. I mean after his terrific postseason, there is hope he can carry some magic to the regular season (but he won't, will he?). With Enstrom, expectations are rather moderate.
Gaborik was great in the postseason! LA is perfect for him! He has been relatively healthy!
I voted for Gaborik because when things are going good, you know he is just setting you up for disappointment.

My main league:
Last year Enstrom did something really frustrating. He was healthy and still had an awful season - inexplicably - despite great PP time and playing the same role he always had with the same supporting cast as when he was productive. I find it incredibly frustrating when you can't find a reason why a player is doing poorly when active.
...and then I look at Gaborik and see his 10/11, 12/13, and even his 13/14 season and think... oh yeah, he's done that too...
10-Team, Custom Keeper. In this league GMs sign their own contracts at an auction for a specified price and term up to 4 years.

Enstrom... what can you legibly trade him for in your fantasy league?
For Desharnais I still find his fantasy production interesting given he plays on the Habs that rarely have a 70-point getter... and he hasn't been in fantasy radar for that long to consider him a disappointment
