Nick Schmaltz or David Pastrnak, fantasy-wise?

I'm debating between these 2 for my team in sig.

I am torn between both as I feel they both have some good upside. Is it as close as I see it or does one player stand out more?

Any insight is most appreciated!

Great question, I had to make a similar decision recently in one of my leagues. Both have very similar offensive arsenal's but I like Schmaltz's upside and drive more than Pastrnak. With Schmaltz going off to college and Pastrnak being pretty soft, the wait time on both is likely identical. I'd lean towards Schmaltz.

Really it's a flip of a coin, so I'd go with Schmaltz.

Schmaltz for me, I like his top end potential much better than Pastrnak's. I don't see Pastrnak as a big time scorer at the NHL level.
