Voted for Ward. Halak has injury issues but at least when he plays his numbers are very good. Ward is in that sweet spot of injury prone/over hyped/shitty.
Jaroslav Halak
Cam Ward
It's down to Jaroslav Halak vs. Cam Ward in the battle to determine fantasy hockey's most frustrating goalie to own, and to see who advances to next week's semi-finals of the tournament to crown fantasy hockey's most frustrating player.
Voted for Ward. Halak has injury issues but at least when he plays his numbers are very good. Ward is in that sweet spot of injury prone/over hyped/shitty.

Halak here. Because of the gig he lost in st louis.
Easy Halak. Because of injuries and time-shares, he has only started more than 46 games one time, and he's never won 30 games in a season.

I voted for Halak because I'm past the point of wanting to own Ward at his previous perceived value. If this poll was done 2-3 years ago, when Ward's perceived value was much higher, then I would have voted for him. I wouldn't be as frustrated owning Ward now since I wouldn't be expecting much.
Ward is all over the map and got my vote.
Voted for Ward.

I've only owned Ward for a couple single seasons, and I almost quit fantasy hockey because of him.
I would pull a Roy and pull the goalie for the full week than dressing that piece of crap.

Ward for me.
He sucks, yet a lot of people still view him as an "elite" goaltender.
No thanks.

Ward forsure.. Halak was never pegged to be a stud, Ward on the other hand was!!
Zorro says "vote for Dobber"
Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
Stud or not, Carolina was/is not a good team and that factors in. St.Louis was/is a good team. When you are suppose to be the #1 on a good team and you can't get it done ... that's frustrating. Especially when day to day you can't even predict when Halak was going to play.

I voted for Halak simply because Cam Ward has never really been that good. He's got hot in the playoffs during his rookie season and led the Hurricanes to the Cup. Asides from that short run and one other season (10/11), he's been a below average NHL starter.
Ward for being a golden boy for so long and doing precisely zero to earn that mantle. In many ways, I wish he had lost his job to Justin Peters or Dan Ellis years ago. Remember how hot Dan Ellis got in his backup role In CAR a few years back? Ward can make anyone look elite by comparison.
10-Team, Custom Keeper. In this league GMs sign their own contracts at an auction for a specified price and term up to 4 years.
