I'd take side A and it has everything to do with Johansen. I think Schenn and Palat likely cancel out long term but Johansen will blow Couture out of the water.
H2H Multi-cat Points league, All players involved would be keepers for both sides
Scoring cats: G A PTS PPP SHG FOW SOG HIT BLK
Side A: Ryan Johansen (659 season pts, 8.0 ppg) and Ondrej Palat (499 pts, 6.2 ppg)
OR
Side B: Logan Couture (521 season pts, 8.0 ppg) and Brayden Schenn (503 pts, 6.1 ppg)
Who do you like going forward in a keeper league with my scoring cats?
I'd take side A and it has everything to do with Johansen. I think Schenn and Palat likely cancel out long term but Johansen will blow Couture out of the water.
This is insanely tough haha. I like Schenn better than Palat. I think Johansen needs to prove more, but I still think he will be better long term. Go with side A for the higher upside in Johansen over Couture.

I like the Johansen side as well.
Especially in a multi-cat like this league.

I like the Johansen side as well - not sure it's all cut and dried, Couture still has another level to achieve I think. I just really have a good feeling about Palat going forward - he won't be a superstar but I think he will contribute at the level of say an Eriksson. Could be wrong but that's my instinct here - not sure Schenn can sort it out where he is.
You've been cranking out the real tough decisions lately Doug Glatt - and this is another one.
I give a slight edge to Johansen/Palat over Couture/Schenn on Points
I give a slight edge to Johansen/Palat over Couture/Schenn (even though Schenn is an absolute beast here, Couture is a real dud)
I give a slight edge to Couture/Schenn over Johansen/Platt in SOG
PIMS are a wash with these guys.
+/- is a wash and too tough to predict.
I give a slight edge to Joansen/Palat over Couture Schenn on PPP
I give an edge to Couture/Schenn over Johansen/Platt in Faceoffs.
So that makes things clear as mud really.
So going to have to give my nod to the side with the best overall player and better peripherals - so Palat/Johansen, but it's real close.
Well clean sweep so far. I like Johansen better than Couture (higher PIMS, HITS, PPP, points ceiling) and Palat much better than Schenn (esp. points and PPP).
Another thing to consider, short-term, is that Johansen and Palat are both projecting Line 1 and PP1, while Couture is Line 2, PP1/2, and Schenn is Line 2/3, PP2. I really can't find an argument for the Couture/Schenn side, maybe FOW?...

I'll add one more vote for side A. I like the upside that both bring, and that's not saying that side B doesn't have any upside, but RJ is the real deal.

I like side B personally. I feel there is more pedigree and potential there then side A. It's very close and I would be happy with either, but for me, Side B is the preference.
