I think your scoring (and his strategy) demonstrates why goalies are worth less so realistically it's probably in your favour to do it...
The GM who owns Claude Giroux in my league has said he'd entertain trading him, if the offer was acceptable.
He currently owns no goalies. He dropped them all to make a frantic push during the Finals of the playoffs.
I offered him Crawford 1 for 1, he said he has no interest in Crawford.
Am I crazy to offer up Price for Giroux?
Haven't locked in my keepers yet, but here are the players I have in the mix (Keep any 9)
J.Toews
P.Kessel
M.Pacioretty
Z.Parise
B.Ryan
R.Nash
M.Hossa
G.Nyquist

I love Price - as I am sure you can tell.
But in a H2H league, I'll go Giroux. Goalies fluctuate too much week by week, and I'd rather have the ppg+ star during playoffs than the star goalie who could always have a bad game in those playoffs. Goalies are just wayyyy to unpredictable in H2H - always go with the star skater.
It really sounds like top forwards are worth more than top goalies in your setup, so this would be an interesting trade for you.
I could see you do that move. You would still have a decent #1 goalie on a good team plus a star ppg player.

Giroux was the 3rd ranked skater last year in our format.
Price was the 2nd ranked goalie.
I'm gonna make the offer and see what he comes back with.

Also with FW as a catagory Giroux is the better options here along with what the others say.
Hmmm... this is tough one.
In 10-team leagues, goalies can be overvalued... since there are plenty to go around.
That said... there's 18 skaters on a team contributing to 10 categories. (0.55 cats per roster slot)
Then you've got probably 2 goalies contributing to 4 categories (2 cats per roster slot)
And then... it's H2H... where goalie stats can be volatile and one rough outing from Price could destroy a week.
Very tough one.
I think I'd go with Giroux though. Your line-up already has a lot of great forwards... so continuing to pound away at those stats is a strategy I like.
Take Giroux.
I'd do it...but I don't think he'll accept. Unless Giroux isn't his best player?!?!

He countered with Joe Pavelski for Carey Price.
Pavelski was ranked 4th in our pool of skaters this year, but can he repeat the same output as last year? I've always seen him as a 60 point type of player.

Tough one. If Price continues to play like he did this past season he has to be considered the better option. But you do have Crawford too and he's a great guy to own with your categories.
I'd argue that if you're willing to give up Crawford, that Price is of equal value in your format. I think given that 72-73% of your categories are skater cats that getting Grioux in return is a fair trade but maybe see if you can get a little extra thrown in? Maybe a mid round pick or prospect? Try to sell him hard on Price and what a great year he had, I feel like you might be able to get a little more. Is he a Habs fan by chance?
I talk with this GM a lot I know how he works trade wise, he's not budging on his price level for Giroux. (Price + Toews or Kessel)
I came back at him with Crawford for Pavelski, he said he would think about it.
I still see value in Pavelski in our league - C/RW that will put up ~60 PTS plus FOW
But definitely not worth giving up Price.
