i would say Gaborik
Who scores more next season, Gaborik or Bozak?
12 team points only keeper (G = 1, A = 1, W = 2, SO = 2)
Dress 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, weekly starts
Roster limit - 20 plus 4 prospects
i would say Gaborik
No way to tell until we know where Gaborik signs. If he stays in LA, then Gaborik. If he goes elsewhere there's a chance it could be Bozak. If you have to decide now i'd go with gaborik.
10 team pts-only keeper league - keep 10 plus 10 from past/present farm. No bench: entire active roster counts. Goalies: 2 pts/win + 3/shutout. 82 adds / year. NHL playoffs count for separate prize.

Most people will go with Gaborik, and that's who i'd draft first, but there's an intriguing case that Bozak gets more points. Most people would be shocked to know that Bozak's points per game pace this season put him on rate to accumulate 69 points in 82 games. That's a better pace than Parise, Couture, Datsyuk, Pacioretty, M.Koivu, Landeskog, Iginla, Eberle, Eric Staal, Backes, MacKinnon, JVR, Pominville, oh and Gaborik too. He plays with Phil Kessel so he's a fairly safe option to put up decent numbers. Just putting that out there.

I feel that Bozak's pace this year was unsustainable, but he's generally a safe, consistent bet for between 45-55 points.
Gaborik at this point depends so much on health and situation that I would take the safe points with Bozak over Gaborik.
Gaborik will come out of the gates flying and then get hurt and get 45-50 pts. (been burned by this guy before). As long as Bozak stays healthy and continues to play with Kessel, I'd say he has a higher ceiling.

Bozak is 28 years old and has put up over 40 points a grand total of twice
i don't see how he could possibly be considered safe for anything in the 40+ range

Neither of them can stay healthy so my choice is to go with the higher skilled player and say Gaborik.
I dont care where he signs, if he plays as many or more games as Bozak he will out produce him.

Gaborik. Especially if scoring is meant to suggest goalscoring.

I would go with Gaborik - higher upside - even with injury downside, compared to Bozak.
Would roll the dice that way, all probability they may not end up that far apart in pts.

I don't see Bozak as an illustration of staying healthy either then again perhaps it was just this past season.
We all know Gaborik is pretty much assured to make a trip to the DL but when healthy I would prefer Gabby as goals are harder to come by.
If your league has DL slots than as long as you can salvage some points off the waiver wire I see Gabby as having a higher return.
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
Bozak for me too. 1st line center in Toronto with a top 10 player in Kessel. JVR is not that bad too !!!!!1 ( 60 pts player )

I would say fantasy wise I would pick Gaborik. He’s a winger and if he gets put on the IR, you can pick someone up to replace him. So Gaborik + FA would get more fantasy value than Bozak. Plus the league is so deep at center that it’s easier to find a 40-50 point center than a 40-50 point winger. However, if it is a choice of just who will out produce who, I’ll pick Bozak. It’s hard to bet against the center of a sniper in Kessel (who hasn’t missed a game in 4 yrs), and a power forward like JvR. With the Olympics taking a toll on JvR and Kessel, I don’t want to think about how many points they could have racked up if there weren’t the Olympics.
