Basically Ryan for Kopitar, I say do it, with Gabby in LA and Kopy moving into his prime, plus you get the pick to use.
Pts only keeper listed in sig..
Who wins this deal?
My: Bobby Ryan and Brian Campbell
For: Anze Kopitar and 1st round pick (Prospect draft 11th overall, all FA's and 2014 draftees)
With Buff, Subban, Wiz, Barrie, and Carlson I can spare a D. Is this too much for Kopitar though? How much better is he than Ryan?
The pick isn't great but the open roster spot allows me to add someone if I don't use the pick anyways. There aren't many FA's available but as far as prospects go the top guys would be Jurco, Jaskin, Zucker, Morin
Thoughts? Rep!

Yeah just to reiterate the others... Kopi side please. I'd say at worse Ryan could get within 5 pts of kopitar. Best case? Kopitar out points him by 10+. Different league, really.
This is crucial.
There was some real nice chemistry between the two down the stretch. I'm convinced Kopi could be an 85-90 point talent with a world class winger on his line. The way I see it:
Kopitar with a star winger: 80-85 points
Kopitar without a star winger: 68-75 points
But to the OP question: I think the Kopitar side has the edge in this deal.
