I'm not a Leafs fan, but I hope Reimer stands on his head and finds a way to help them get into the playoffs.
I was at the game tonight and it felt good to see Reimer get a standing ovation when he came out to replace the injured Bernier. Restored my faith in Leaf fans. I guess the idiots are only on Twitter. The ones at the game are apparently good seeds.
That is all. Just thought it was worth noting, giving the bull that his wife had to put up with.

Huge Reimer fan. Hoping he lands in Long Island next season, I think he could really do some damage.

I agree with comments above.
I hope to see Reimer go someplace like NYI.
He has the capacity to pull a Steve Mason and put up completely better stats in a different clubhouse.
Another good fit for Reimer could be his home province of Manitoba.
Pavelec clearly isn't working for Winnipeg.
Three-way trade:
1. Leafs send Reimer (and his RFA status) to Winnipeg, where he signs, knowing he'll be the #1 goalie.
2. Jets send Pavelec (and his low-cost contract) to NYI.
3. NYI sends budding, smart defensive-forward Brock Nelson to TOR... because, well Toronto could use a smart defensive-forward... ZING.
Everybody happy?
Ideal scenario IMO:
Toronto runs the table with Reimer playing great for the rest of the season
Followed by
Toronto still missing the playoffs because LOL Leafs
Glad to see the standing O for Reimer. You could tell he appreciated it.
It will be interesting to see where he lands.

Yes, that SO showed class. Happy for him to get the win too.

I always thought Edmonton would be the perfect fit.........
Wow, he has one good relief effort and everyone is back on the Reimer bandwagon. The guy still has posted a 3.39 GAA this season in 33 games. Truth is, Reimer is not a #1 quality goalie in the NHL. He may be playing elsewhere next season, but it won't be in starting capacity. And if it is, that team is in trouble.
