I'm happy with any outcome that doesn't involve Brady and the Pats winning.
I know this is the lounge, but this is worth a topic.. Next week might be the most awesome AFC/NFC championship weekend in a long, long time. It is worth tuning in.
Seattle vs. San Francisco.
Wilson vs. Kaepernick. Carroll vs Harbaugh (genuine dislike going back a decade). Biggest rivalry in football. Possibly the two best young QBs in football.
Seattle is the most dominant team at home, 15-1 over the last two seasons. Loudest stadium in the world. Top defence in football. A running back that does this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSZdntRnQVg. Has had a few substance abuse suspensions (mostly for weed, one or two for Adderall).
San Fran might have the best receiving core in football, along with one of the most physically gifted QBs. Made the Super Bowl last year. Just as tough a defence as Seattle. Had a top defensive player suspended indefinitely for major alcohol and life issues, including a crazy party involving gunshots.
Denver vs. New England.
Brady vs. Manning, part 1000. Legacy defining. Compared endlessly. Measured against one-another. Two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time (with fans of one telling you the other isn't in the discussion). Denver broke a tonne of offensive records this season. New England signed guys off of their couches to start due to an incredible amount of injuries and the NFL's early trade deadline.

As I type this, there are only 3 confirmed teams for the Conference Finals next weekend. The Denver game is still in progress.
That being said, the 3 teams that have made it to this point are well deserved and should definitely be there.
I'm a Niners fan so I am looking forward to a little redemption heading to Seattle and kicking that 12th man right in the junk.
Go Niners!

It is confirmed! Brady-Manning, Wilson-Kaepernick. Haha the ESPN hype machine will be all revved up for this one.

I'm hoping for a Seahawks - Pats final
Seahawks because they're my 2nd favourite team (and the 49ers beat my Panthers...grr), Patriots because I like their gusto this year, considering their offense has been in shambles, and their D has been inconsistent. Well, that and I always try to root for one underdog every weekend, and I've been hearing all season about how the stacked Broncos had an inevitable Superbowl berth. Much like how I rooted against the pats during their run for a perfect season, I'd like to see the broncos fail here.
So yeah, I'm hoping that the Seahawks put their offense woes behind them, and that the Patriots can somehow stop Moreno on the run, Welker et al. in recieving, and manage to put up some offense, given the broncos have a good run D and their pass rush is still very decent. The Pats just have too many key injuries, too little depth, and Belichick can only do so much with what he has. The broncos are healthier and host a significantly higher amount of raw talent on their team, and that's hard to overcome twice in a season.
My gut says it'll be the Broncos and 49ers, because this year's playoffs have hated all my picks so far except the Seahawks (and now Pats, by default, having beaten Indy), so I fully expect two teams I generally don't have incredible love for to make the finals. Though if so, I hope the 49ers take it over the broncs.

Seahawks and Denver get the wins next week . Your right even though I despise 3 out of the 4 teams remaining (indifferent on Seattle) it looks to set up as two awesome games.
I remember that run you posted. Looked very Sandersesq. Top 10 runs I have ever seen without a doubt!

I'm a life long Bronco fan.
Bring me a DEN v. SF final... because (as any Bronco fan will tell you)... that Super Bowl still stings and I want them to feel the pain of getting drubbed.
I think the west will win. Elite offence > elite defense in New Jersey in February.

I can't remember the last time the four best teams made it all the way through if that's what you are saying.
I love watching Russell Wilson and this Seahawks team play so they are the team I'm bandwagoning.
As long as the niners win it all I'm ok.
Who are your picks?

Hoping for NE/SF. I'd bet Denver and Seattle to win. Really tired of all the Manning stuff and I don't even watch ESPN.

What more can you ask for in a conference final? Best two QB's of the generation square off in the twilight's of there careers and the Jedi Manning puts a beating on Brady. Manning is Rembrandt, he is Aristotle....
I'm now 9/10 in the playoffs money line and spread so I'm going to dust my shoulders off!

Nice BBB, I'm 6-0 against the spread the last two weeks and 9-1 overall. I'm only up $40 though because I let my buddy talk me into the ginger cringer and then doubled down on the Green Bay moneyline. So technically 8-2 with my bets.
