Without keeper value I wouldn't bother.
Is there any chance he comes back this season? I could pick him up for free right now and stash him away if he goes on IR. Right now Yahoo has him listed as D2D. This move will have no keeper value to me, it's strictly for the remainder if the regular season.

I really don't think we'll see Letang this season, but hey, you never know. I would do it only if it doesn't cost you anything or even if it handicaps you for picking up another player who actually might play in a game before the end of the regular season.

I would wait until he is IR eligible. At that point, it doesn't hurt you at all.
Letang won't be returning anytime soon. Strokes are very serious business, and for an elite-level athlete it will likely(unfortunately) take him even longer than your average joe before he's ready to return to training...let alone the National Hockey League. Stashing him on IR is simply a waste of time, but sure, it doesn't "hurt" anything.
I don't see Letang coming back this season. They just called up another young defensemen for the remainder of the season. I think they'll let him take his time to recover.
Thanks

i dont think hes worth it
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
Once he goes on the IR, I would take a shot with him. I am skeptical of his return this year but if its a simple move that doesnt cost you anything, and he can be kept on your IR, I dont see the harm in taking this gamble.

No chance he returns this year IMO. We are talking about a stroke here after all... I mean, certain players remain sidelined for an extended period of time when they have a smallest of ailments nowadays for precautionary measures. I would think that any issues related to a heart defect will prevent Letang from returning before the end of the season (slow recovery and numerous tests are abound)
I wish him the best of luck!
