Just a solid bottom 6er that has some size, uses it in the corners, decent speed. Leader on and off the ice...good on draws.
In my opinion, Grant getting called up has a lot to do with faceoffs. It is no surprise that the only games the Sens have won this season (and that isn't many), were also the only times they won the faceoff % numbers. Pageau was getting destroyed in the dot, like badly, and Grant comes in who excels in this area and is the only left-hander besides Zack Smith that Ottawa has. That is huge. With Grant in the lineup against Edmonton, the Sens played their best game of the season, won the faceoff battle, but lost the game. It's a bright spot in this sloppy season so far.
Grant reminds me of Chris Kelly a little bit, but with slightly more of a finishing touch.
Hey Sens fans, I'm looking at potentially adding one of MacArthur or Conacher for the rest of the week as Ottawa plays Wed/Fri/Sun this week. Which between the two would you guys go with? I see Conacher was lined up with Spezza, but Mac seems to be more reliable to not get dropped from the top six.
I added MacArthur to my own team for the week as he is due for a goal or two.
Zibanejad is back up
Stephen Whyno @SWhyno 22s
#Sens have recalled Mika Zibanejad from AHL. Play at Alfredsson and #RedWings tomorrow.
Give me Conacher for the week, especially if you count PIM's as Conacher is gonna get frustrated this week and take a couple penalties.
He's been playing well on the top line too.
Just my opinion.
And all the forum "experts" from other Sens sights crawl back into their holes. Stay here folks.
MacArthur is on the Sens most consistant line so far and has 4 assists, you gotta think he will get some goals soon enough. He is usually fairly even in goals vs assists throughout his career.
Conacher is sitting at only 2 goals I think while playing on the "top line" and I just like him for his other categories this week.
Flip a coin.

Looks like Pageau has an injury. So Zibanejad will need to show well if he gets in tomorrow.
I'm lying. I actually wouldn't pick up any Sens this week, but that getting away from the original question that peaked this conversation.
Have you seen who the Sens play this week? I wouldn't touch any marginal Sens players right now. There has to be better options. I don't care that they play 3 times.
Im excited for this game and when Alfy returns to Ottawa it'll be oh so much better.
