Nobody on the Hurricanes is doing well right now other than Jeff Skinner.

Jiri Tlusty right now has 0 points in 8 games. Know how many points he had last season in his first 8 games? He had two. Mind you, this year he's getting better opportunities out of the gate. But having watched the way that those three guys played together last season, I wouldn't be so quick on cutting bait on Tlusty unless the alternatives are significantly better.

Muller already has shown that he wants to balance his scoring throughout his roster. The best way (IMO) for him to do that is to have Tlusty up there with Eric Staal and Semin, because last season those three comprised one of the best lines in the NHL. No doubt in my mind.

There aren't any guarantees but I'd personally be willing to give it a little bit more time. I'm actually trying to acquire Tlusty in my league now while his value is slim to none.

Haha, don't worry they did. But it was just one night, I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come from this guy (well, that is if I can still get him from the guy who owns him in my league).

Just for the record, I rep'ed you before the 2 goal night. It was solid advice...the timing just made you look like a genius. I wonder if that would have happened if Tlusty was a goalie?
