he's in a good situation but man is he a bandaid boy.. Roll the dice if you have lots of moves
Malone is playing on the top line in Tampa now. He also plays the point on the #1 PP. He also racks up a decent amount of penalty minutes.
Would you drop Ryder for him? Ryder seems pretty slow out of the gates.
Other options:
- M. Raymond (TOR)
- TJ Oshie (STL)
- B. Little (WPG)
- T. Fleischmann (FLA)

Malone has often been in that situation in prior years... this is nothing new.
He'll score 40-50, no more no less, with good peripherals.
I like Malone better this year. Ryder can get you 50-55 pts but they have Brunner at the moment as their man sniper.

Pick up Malone for sure. Awesome peripherals and he's spending almost all his time with MSL and Stammer. No brainer really unless as was already pointed out, you have limited transactions as the injury bug will surely hit him at some point.

Bennett is injured right now, so i think thatīs the reason.
He had 2 minutes less than Bickell and 3 less than Malone, so thatīs not a big factor, especially since he was on the third line in the first games, but heīs one injury or two good games away from a job next to Malkin or Crosby.
Fair enough - I missed that news. I think Crosby's line is pretty firm, but an injury to one of his wingers could change things. Bennett could end up a fixture on Malkin's line though. I still think he's unlikely to play on the top PP unit though, and where Bennett may have an opportunity to get some great icetime, Malone is already there.
touché ;-)
Malone had so many chances, but he only had one season where he reached 51 points, that was his career year.
Many things can happen in hockey, but 50 is what i expect to see from Bennett in his worst season (his first 3 excluded)
