    Default Trading AP??

Normally I wouldn't consider this whatsoever, but and injury to Julio Jones could really hurt me. I'm currently in 1st place, but had a terrible week (injuries and BYE's)

    My team:

    QB - Tony Romo
    WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Marlon Brown (coming off injury)
    WR - Julio Jones (injured)
    RB - DeAngelo Williams
    RB - Adrian Peterson
    TE - Jordan Cameron
    W/R/T - Bilal Powell
K - Caleb Stugis (dropped for Vinateri this BYE week)
    DEF -New England

    BN - Joique Bell (RB)
BN - Colby Fleener (RB) (dropping for R. Randle (WR) hopefully)
    BN - Jason Snelling (RB)
    BN - Matt Ryan (QB)
    BN - Jacoby Jones (WR)
    BN - Kyle Rudolph (TE)

    I have an offer of,

    Andre Johnson
    Trent Richardson

    for

    Adrian Peterson

    would make my starting lineup

    QB - Tony Romo
    WR - Calvin Johnson
    WR - Andre Johnson
    WR - Randle/Jacoby Jones/Brown
    RB - Trent Richardson
    RB - DeAngelo Williams
    TE- Jordan Cameron
    W/R/T - Powell/Bell/Snelling/Rudolph/extra WR
    K - Adam Vinateri
    DEF - New England

Does this trade make me better going forward? I'd like to stay on top!

AP is way more valuable than Richardson+Johnson IMO. If you want to stay on top keep the the top RB in the world. The only way I would trade AP would be for a RB+Jimmy Graham or a RB+Peyton Manning

I agree. While I do believe Trent will bounce back this season, I'd be wary of buying into the Andre Johnson name. Given Schaub's plain awfulness this season, and the overall strength of Foster and Tate, there's every reason to believe that the Texans are going to become more conservative and quick. So aside from hanging on to AP, I'd also be selling on Andre Johnson, not buying.

I agree with the Rich and AJ assessments 100%. The Texans QB situation was also part of my thought process.

It is a one year league, so I would be more flexible than that. There are also some concerns with the average yardage AP is getting if you discount some of the monster runs. I think a Trent+AJ deal is usually pretty close to fair, but I have the same concerns about those players as you.

    Wayne+Gore.
    Nelson+Murray.
    Cruz+Spiller.
    Welker+Lacy.

All of these are examples of what I would say is fair for AP.

No need to move AP. Try to buy low on a WR. Who's on the WW?

It would be tough to trade AP. As the saying goes, best player in the trade usually wins.

There isn't much on the waiver wire.

    Keenen Allen
    Nate Washington
    Stephen Taylor
    Donnie Avery
    Jerricho Cotchery
    Ryan Broyles
    Kenny Britt

I was offered Jimmy Graham and Ray Rice for AP and Jordan Cameron.. but moving Cameron seems counterproductive considering he's been the best TE behind Graham.

I was offered Rice + Fitzgerald + Gostkowski... but I wasn't too excited about that one either.

I don't want to move AP by any means... I just want to maximize my points to position.

A Graham package may be worth it. Post that guy's full roster. Cameron's best games were with Hoyer Qb-ing and he's done for the season. Maybe a 3 for 3 or something with that team could maximize your points.
