Pat Kane is 24 years old, so he still has 10 years of great scoring ahead of him. MacKinnon can be happy if he ever becomes as good as Kane is, iŽd make that trade for sure.
10 team full keeper. I was offered P. Kane for my Mackinnon. Stats are G, A, P, PPP, +/-, SOG, hits, blocks, FOW. My team is probably middle of the road as far as competetiveness. I probably won't win this year but should be top half. Any thoughts on if you'd make the trade?

I make this deal no questions asked. Top ten player for an unproven rookie?
Steal in my opinion.

I agree. I can't think of a reason to not accept this deal.
Losing MacKinnon sucks, but P Kane will be putting up big points forever in Chicago...
Kane's been through the growing pains already. He's in beast mode, take the deal regardless of what Mac might become.

Take Kane. He is still very young and much more proven.
If you go by the proven vs potential argument then the Kane side easily wins but I think that Mac will end up the better player.
Short term, obviously the Kane side is superior just given the likely point differential. Longer term, this could get a bit dicey given that Kane offers squatsky in three of those categories (hits, blocks, FOW). Still, I'd gladly take the proven commodity and look to other players/positions to make up those other categories. Just saying that even though not something that I'd choose to do from the other owner's perspective, it's not as entirely insane as it first seems from a long term point of view given the scoring categories if he's convinced that MacKinnon is the real deal.
