Need help- shorts for Cutler???

My QB has a bye (newton) and am in a tough match this week...


I am rather deep at WR/TE with megatron and graham...my three option is Shorts.

I'm looking to trade Shorts for Cutler as I would otherwise have to start Geno Smith...

What do you guys think?

BTW... i would trade smith and shorts and get back cutler and clay charles.


start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr/te.

I think I would do that deal. Post your entire roster though that would make it easier to know for sure.

It certainly helps you this week to make that trade. And on most non bye weeks you don't need Shorts because you have Johnson,Graham,Royal. The only downside of the trade is that when 1 of those 3 have their byes, you are stuck with someone not very productive in your third WR/TE spot.

I dont like this trade at all. It definitely helps to get Edelman instead of Clay, but I wouldnt do a trade like this just for one week. Not like Cutler @Detroit is a sure thing either.

IMO yes it would. Edelman is better than Shorts if this is ppr. If not they are still fairly close.
