How would you rank these 4 in terms of points only in their prime? In my opinion, Sid > Stammer > JT > Hall, but i have NO IDEA where to place McDavid, so i dont know what to trade away for a potential 1st overall pick in my league's 2015 draft.

You put mcdavid at 5, because it'll be at least two years yet before he does anything for your team. If you are rebuilding and have zero chance of competing I might put him at 4 ahead of Hall.

Crosby is 26 and is projected to get 104 points this year. McDavid will be 26 ten years from now. What's the point of making such a comparison?

really? tavares over stamkos? i dunnnoooooooooo........ anyways, its what im afraid of. as long as no one else has a crosby-type player, my victory is almost assured, but if McDavid is as good as him, i might be in trouble.

I would not trade any of these players for only a "potential" 1st overall pick two years from now. McDavid could very well end up scoring more points than some of these players, but if there's no guarantee you'll even get him this question is pointless.

There's too many unknowns. You don't know if the other you are trading with will get the first overall pick two years from now.
You don't know if McDavid will be #1. Remember, Sean Courturier was expected to be the first overall pick the year before the draft. He dropped to seventh and RNH went first. You never know what will happen with these guys. Heck, Seth Jones was supposed to be first overall this past year, and he slipped down to fourth.
You don't know who McDavid will play for. Does he get drafted by a St. Louis team after a rough year? Florida? Carolina? Philly? That plays a large part in ice time, linemates, etc.
Way too many unknowns.
