Re:Montreal lines
As you might know by now, Carbonneau is the kind of coach who likes to mix it up a bit... One day Ryder is on the first line, then comes Latendresse, then again Ryder. Of course, Koivu WILL be on the first line, but the rest is more than unsure. Hamilton Bulldogs graduates will likely \"invade\" the lineup, just like Latendresse did last year. You might find more info about upcoming lines after the prospect camp.
There won\'t be stable lines in Montreal until they sign a stellar player to go on the first line. My feeling is that Gainey will go after Lecavalier at the end of 2009. Until then, you can draft forwards (in this specific order) that will likely stay on either the first OR the second line: Koivu,Latendresse, Ryder (Ryder before Latendresse if goals give you more pts than assists), Plekanec, Higgins.
Keep in mind that the re-building Habs won\'t have any player over 75 pts. But I wouldn\'t be surprised if most of the players above hit the 50 pts.
Hope this can help.
