im a holtby fan, but price is supposedly top notch....

I think Price has always been a little over rated but still believe he is a top 10 goalie, so he would easily be my choice out of those 3. However I do like Holtby and think that Washington is going to be a very good team for a long time. They have lots of great players and imo one of the best group of prospects coming up so I don't mind the idea of trading Price and keeping Holtby if the return for Price is good. Target a Montreal fan as they delusionally believe Price is the best goalie in the league and you can probably rape them.

Try to move Holtby for an upgrade, NOT Price.
Price's future is paved in Montreal, and he will be a top-5 goalie sooner than later.
Holtby is good, but he is still in a weird tandem in Washington and has yet to establish himself as a true starter. Use his 2012-13 stats as leverage and try to move him ASAP. If you try to trade Price on the other hand, you will never get face value for him; unless you are dealing with a manager that has a man-crush on him or something.
I prefer Price's potential, his current situation and even his current stats. He would be my keeper, no question.

Surely you can move Holtby for something of value (pick/prospect). Price will not lose his starting job for the next few years at least and with a new goalie coach coming to Mtl, Price could be ready for another breakout year. He has already put up 2 elite seasons in the NHL under the age of 24 and has no problem coping with the pressure cooker that is the Mtl Media. He's still only 25 and has all the tools to be an elite goalie.

I'm with BBB. Price is somewhat overrated. And he is the better trade chip than Holtby who has a stronger team in front of him. I read not long ago that there was some worry that Price has regressed. Don't know if it's true or not, but it may be worth investigating. Ultimately, test the market and see what you can get for him. If you can get a stud up front, I'd move him and keep Holtby. Anything short of stud, and I'd keep Price.

Montreal is always going to spend cap money to field a good team and they are slowly getting better at shedding the crap contracts and getting value per player.
Price's stats behind an improving team will get better.
I'd definitely rank him as a top 10 goalie in keeper leagues.
Holtby, not so much... and the new division for the Caps (PIT/PHI/NYR/NYI/NJ/CBJ/CAR) could pelt him with a lot more shots than the Southeast did this year.
Price is the safe bet! Auld isn't going to steal games from him and MTL is looking like a team on the ups!

Price is the safer bet to put up consistent performance for you next season. Tandems can be hell on a h2h team unless you have both and it's daily starts. I too believe in Holtby long term but would keep the safer asset for next season, Price.
I would definitely keep Price over Holtby and wouldn't even think twice about it.
Price over Holtby and it's an easy choice imo.
That being said, I do like Holtby. Shop both of them around and if you can get a monster return on Price I'd be ok making it and rolling with Holtby.
If there's no trade to be made, Price is the better option.
