He\'s played an NHL game - consider yourself corrected!!!
Correct me if I\'m wrong, but Giroux has not played a single NHL game yet, right? How come he is not even in the top 40 prospect from Dobber and Bugg?

he was an emergency call up late in teh season...that being said his play in teh mem cup did light the skies on fire either
I disagree. I was at the Mem Cup game when they played Spokane and Giroux was the best player there by far - including Bowman. He has nobody to play with. He would dazzle with his moves and then make a beautiful dish and his teammates would bungle it. I would say, just from that one game I saw, that he single-handedly brought them to the tourney

51 points in 19 playoff games. Are you kidding me? He is going to be a stud.
Didn\'t he win the playoff MVP?

The anticipated return of Simon Gagne from concussion and the possibility that junior sensation Claude Giroux will make the team only heightens the optimism.
“I think (Giroux) will come in and push a lot of guys,” Holmgren said. “He\'s talented, and he\'s gotten bigger and stronger. To his credit, he\'s really come a long way. I think he\'s going to make waves here. He\'s going to make us make a decision on somebody. That\'s a good thing. I wish we had more problems like that.”

And general manager Paul Holmgren has said it will be difficult to keep Claude Giroux off of the Flyers’ roster. The right winger was the club’s top selection in the NHL Entry Draft two years ago. The 5’11’’, 180-pound Giroux was named the Most Valuable Player in the Quebec Major Junior League playoffs after collecting 17 goals and 34 assists in just 19 games.
Yah i wouldn\'t take him - doesn\'t sound like he\'s going to be any good...
