    Default Help me pick a waiver D

    Going to send Leopold (acquired as a toss in in a deal) to the wire, if any of these scrubs are worth the move:

    Muzzin - will he continue on top PP?
    Martinez - second pp
    Daley - top pp but no points
    Stralman - second pp
    Macdonald - second pp

    Thanks

    This looks like a Value Village clearance sale...yuck!

    Daley...sits 9th on the team in PP TOI/gm and is a team worst -6 [not a recipe for success]
    Macdonald...leads team in TOI, 7th in PP time
    Stralman...seeing only 13 minutes of ice / gm...total
    Martinez...sees 22+ minutes/gm, has averaged over 3 on the PP, but doesn't shoot much
    Muzzin...13 minutes/gm, but also close to 3 on the PP...does shoot

    I have to be honest I'd probably hold onto Leopold given these options. BUF is a team that will score b/c of its depth so there will be even strength points to be had as well as opportunities for the 2nd PP to contribute.

    If I had to gamble here I'd go one of two ways...a) take the minute eater in Long Island b/c he'll pick up occasional points by virtue of being on the ice so much, or b) roll the dice on one of LA's D and hope he sticks on the 1st PP unit [but with Voynov there these seem like long odds to me]

    First choice...wait a bit longer on Leopold.
    Second choice...I prefer the safer, un-sexy pick of Macdonald

    None of the waiver wire options jump out so I think it's best to stand pat but keep an eye on these guys or anyone else that could emerge.

    Ya, nothing jumping out at me either.

    Jason Demers is also available, so he may get the call, as I see he's been activated. Not a fan of having 4 players on one team though

    That shouldn't be a concern.

    Johnny Boychuk and Kaberle just got dropped too

    Either of them or Demers better than Leo at this point?

    Kaberle could be on his way to being a regular healthy scratch. Just FYI.

    ya, unbelievable fall from grace.

    I also noticed Derek Morris is getting half decent pp time, and has 4 assists.

    Man, I hate sorting through these scraps. Prob just gonna roll with Leo and save the cash (our pot is generated by $10 per trade or add/drop - can get pricey)

    Wow I thought my 16 team league had it rough with free agent quality but I guess this is how it looks in a 19 team league! Not a whole lot there to choose from, I'd stick with what you have for now.
    League 1: 16 Teams. 8 Keepers. Weekly H2H
    F (Start 6): Barkov, J.Hughes, Zibanejad, E. Kane, Buchnevich, Kopitar, Coyle, Trocheck
    D (Start 4): Josi, Hamilton, Toews, Hanifin, Pionk, Clarke, Korchinski
    G (Start 1): Vasilevskiy, Daccord

    Point System
    G=2, A=1, D-man G/A=+1, PIM=0.5, +/-=0.5, Shot=0.1, PPG=1, PPA=1
    Goalie Points
    W=4, S= 0.14, GA=-1, OvertimeW=1, ShootOutW =1, ShutOut=2

    League 2: 12 Team Dynasty League - 30 man roster plus 7 farm.
    Keep 20 + 7 farm. Weekly H2H Roto. G, A, Shots, Hits, Blocks, PPP, Goalie W, SV%, GAA. Forward Positional Requirements.
