I beleive the Canucks are 15-0-2 in their last 17 games vs the Avs if that helps.
What the hell do I do with Varlamov tonight!?!??!?!?!
In my matchup I've had 3 starts, one from Varly, one from Bryz, one from Quick. My stats are now 1W, 2.31GAA, .909%.
My opponent has only had one start (Price last night) and only has Halak as his other goaltender. he is at 1W, 3.00GAA, .857%.
Varly's away games have been horrible last year and this year so far. Do I play him against the Canucks tonight? Seems like a perfect scenario where I'd play him and he'd get destroyed.
My mantra is typically to always start my guys no matter what since I used such high picks to get them (I always draft goalies early)...but here I just don't know.

i am starting him and my goalie stats are much closer than that
I think I would sit him, Colorado has been atrocious on the PK and Vancouver is bound to break out of their current PP funk. Just a hunch though.....
I'd sit Varly.
Not sure if this helps you, but Hitch is planning on starting Halak on the tail end of a back-to-back against Detroit on Friday, apparently. As a Halak owner, that blows (Elliot will play Columbus tomorrow), but perhaps it's good for you.
You should be telling us who to start.
So what say you oh sage of goalies?
What step is self-loathing on the acceptance ladder?
I would definitely start him. He's to valuable to just be sitting on your bench. I'd rather start my goalie and do bad, then sit him on the bench and watch him do great.
I tend to try and do the opposite of bondon. hahaha! Looks like Varlamov is a guaranteed stud tonight!
Seriously, sitting him is the tough call. Its easy to start him. I think the nucks have to start playing well sometime. They are a good team. COL on the other hand is in the weeds. I think they could get spanked tonight. I'd sit him.
I would sit him. You're ahead on the ratios, and you've got Quick and Bryz on deck if you need wins later this week. This is not an ideal matchup.
Anyone else getting ready to laugh about horribly wrong my decision will end up?
ah man, I started him.
