For 3 years or less give me D. Sedin.

Kopitar is great but doesn't bring anything to justify me taking him, over Sedin. I expect Sedin to out point as well as out score Kopitar for the next three years if both are healthy. +/- should be relatively equal, but I figure the Sedin should be better for those three years, even if only by a little. On the PP I expect Sedin to rack up more points than Kopitar. Both are terrible in the PIM department, but if I were to give one an edge over the other it would go to Sedin, even if again only by a slight margin. Shots could go either way, but again if I had to give one the edge it would be Sedin. GWG is usually a pretty random stat, so give me the guy who will score more goals, that would be Sedin. The only thing Kopitar has is youth, but that shouldn't much matter as were only looking at a three year window, and the big one SHP. But SHP are not enough to justify me picking Kopitar over Sedin. The argument can be made for FW but to me when comparing a center vs a winger I don't put too much stock in it as they obviously don't play the same position.

Take Sedin he plays the harder to fill position, and does a better job of filling it. It's not like you will have a void spot at center, where you won't be getting FW.

I would almost say Kopitar but it seems like his body is falling apart.

Sedins play a style that doesnt necessarily require them to deplete their bodies so I like him just barely within the window - also his upside is almost 20 pts higher.

If you think D. Sedin has an upside of being almost 20 points higher, than Kopitar; what would make you consider Anze Kopitar?

For me it's quite easily Sedin.

Kopitar, he'll hit his prime soon and he's younger to boot.

Seems like his body is falling apart? Way to scream the sky is falling because of a 2-3 week bump.

You desperately need help at the LW position. Pacioretty is fine but Tedenby is a very large drop off. You're pretty stacked at C and RW already.

How much will each player cost? If the costs are relatively close or if Daniel is cheaper I go with Daniel with ease...

    Thanks for everyone's analysis!
I was leaning towards Kopitar, being younger and a big FW category while most of the other stats looks similar last year.

LW is indeed a tough position to fill, to keep D.Sedin, Is approximately $6 and Kopitar is $5.
I can only name either one as a RFA and they are susceptible to offer sheets from other GMs.
However, I don't think its too likely for either players to receive an offer.

Below is a (long+messy) list of Free Agents for this year (some will be RFA players)

    Keep Daniel Sedin.
He has a playing style that will hold up for several more years.
    I'm not worried.

Mind you... I haven't won my league yet and was 2nd in standing got knocked out in 1st round of playoffs. I do want to win!

    after reviewing Yahoo:
Giroux maintains C /RW eligibility, where Jeff Carter is now just C.
Lupul and Eriksson has dual LW / RW.

Here is a possibly outlook of my forwards
    C Jeff Carter 5.5/5.5
    C Stephen Weiss 4
    C Patrick Berglund 1.5/1.5
    C Dave Bolland .5/.5

    LW Max Pacioretty (1.5) RFA
    LW/ RW Loui Eriksson 4
    LW/ RW Joffrey Lupul 1
    LW Mattias Tedenby 2 /RFA

    C/RW Giroux 6.5
    RW P.A Parenteau .5
    RW Jack Skille .5
    _________________
    LW D. Sedin 6 (RFA)
    C Kopitar 5 (RFA)
