2 Weeks: January
4 Weeks: February
4 Weeks: March
4-5 Weeks: April
48 games in 14.5 weeks = 3.3 games/week for each team.
For most H2H leagues, this will probably mean:
*12 or 13 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs
*11 or 12 week regular season + 3 weeks of playoffs

That's cutting it close, if you need fifteen weeks (including playoffs) for your fantasy league. Twelve team, weekly league...if each team plays each other once that takes you to April 13 (give or take a day, depending on your start). April 30th falls on a Tues, so that leave only two full weeks for playoffs.

Yeah... I think the ideal H2H league will be:
*12 teams, with 11 regular season H2H weeks
*6-8 team playoff, with 3 playoff H2H weeks
That's 14 weeks and there should be at least 14 weeks... maybe 15.
The NHL schedule typically ends on either a Saturday or Sunday.
Every team played on a final Saturday last year.
So, last NHL game should either be SAT Apr 27th (likely) or SAT May 4th (seems a bit far out).
