Uh oh... that's one of my DobberHockey Entry League goalies...
From Russia with 'ov could be in trouble!!!
No details on if it is serious.
News: Semyon Varlamov recently suffered a knee injury playing for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL, reports the Denver Post.
Analysis: News out of Russia is usually a little sketchy, so it's unclear at this point how serious the injury actually is. However, Semyon Varlamov collided with Sergei Shirokov of CSKA in a recent game and has not played since. Yaroslavl coach Tom Rowe has since commented that Varlamov isn't ready to play yet, and will be given time to fully recover. More as we know it.

Any news? I can't seem to find any updates and can't manage to navigate the KHL web site to find any boxscores....
You scared me... reviving this thread.
I saw the title and said "OH NO... again?!".
I thought I saw something by Dobber that Varly was elected to the KHL all-star game, so I'm assuming he's healthy. (Or does the KHL fans also vote them in?)
He's back playing and putting up awesome numbers. He's healthy now.
Semyon Varlamov has been selected as Team West's starting goaltender for the KHL All-Star Game.
Varlamov has recovered from a recent knee injury and now has a 1.63 GAA and stunning .951 save percentage in 12 games with Yaroslavl Lokomotiv. He narrowly defeated Pekka Rinne in the fan vote. Dec 14 - 6:16 PM
Here is more info. He has returned from injury. I thought he was back sooner, but apparently he just came back.
