I drafted this guy a while back to stash on the farm, but it looks like he may make the Panthers as soon as 2013-2014.
No idea about any injury. Maybe he's just off to a slow start...
I was wondering about the guy. He was supposed to be into Hobey Baker's run and I tried real hard to get him in one of my pools before the beginning of the season. Unfortunately for me, the guy that has him was thinking the same way, he refused all of my offers.
Now, I see that he has 13 pts in 15 games. While that's not poor stats, they're not certainly not what I was hoping... I know he has great linemates, so that shouldn't be the reason...
Since I haven't seen him play this season, I was wondering if he Plays with an injury. If not, should we be worried or should we take this situation and make a pitch for the guy?
Thanks!

He's been great in all of the games I have seen (4-5). Stats only tell part of the story - I have luckily been able to catch more than a few NCAA games.
Consider him a stud prospect and value accordingly.
His stats are below expectations but not by much. A couple multi-point games and he's right there with expectations.

Big Bad Bjugstad as I like to call him...don't worry about him. Its not as important in college hockey for young guys to be at the top of the leader board. His development has been fantastic and hes the Gophers best player, he simply dominates, and I have no doubt he'll be in the NHL next season.
Hes a top 10 prospect in my mind.
I have only seen a couple of his games on TV this year, but those games I saw he was dominate out there. Easily the best player on the ice for both games I watched.

Every time I've read about Bjugstad this year he's been described as dominant out there. So I wouldn't worry about his stats. Like Eric said it only takes a few multi-point games and he's right where he should be. He's also amongst the leaders in goals scored already.
He's a stud prospect.

Interesting to note that it looks like Bjugstad has grown another inch, as the article states he is now 6'6". That reach he displays on the dangle is spezza-esque..
