Well it really depends on who you would have to give to get him. I think Calgary will remain strong down the road, but I wouldn't recommend overpaying for him.

agreed...the Flames have heated up at just the right time considering how congested that conference has gotten so its a good bet they'll continue to roll and that means wins for Kipper

Good guy to acquire as I don't see any reason for them not to keep up their strong play. However, it depends on your needs/standing overall and in the goalie categories and as for Kipper's owner as well. Plus, he's hot so his value is higher than it was earlier in the season, so you might have to pay a premium.

I'd be dealing Vokoun to get him - he looked good last night but that just might make today a good day to deal him. I'd have to throw in one of my D (probably Wideman, maybe Rafalski). Worth it if I have no margin for error in goaltending down the stretch? I can afford the D loss.

Eh in a keeper league I think paying Vokoun + a good defenseman to get him is a bit of an overpayment. Calgary is playing out of their minds right now but that still doesn't solve the problem that they have that majority of their team is old and their young guys aren't impacting the team as much as they'd hoped.
Unless you're really goin for it I wouldn't do this, but if you are really going for it I would try to deal Wideman over Rafalski.
