Boy, Bomm. Things are really looking up in Buffalo! I love the Regehr addition, even if he is getting older, he's still effective and a great teacher for Myers. If Erhoff signs (which I think he will as Pegula will throw the world at him) there are two glaring holes filled for the future. That PP is gonna be crazy!

I'm still in shock, RR44. Listening to a guy from NHL.com earlier say while Ehrhoff isn't worth 5-6mil the Sabres would be better off offering him 4-4.5 for a longer term, and it looks like they may have done just that.
Gives them wiggle room for re-negotiating Myers at the end of next year.
This hasn't hit me yet ....damn.....

Good for the Swordsman Faithful! In echoing the notes made by others, I love seeing the glass ceiling removed that past ownership had in place. As I said early in this thread, Buffalo may not be one of my favorite teams, but Pegula is definitely one of my favorite owners. He's running the team the way I envision a lot of us would, like a fan rather than a business.

...and it's not just that we're getting quality player. They're smart contracts as well. We convinced a Regehr to give up his NTC...we convinced Ehrhoff not to consider Detroit...all for sound contracts. That's not common in these parts. People are walking around the streets like something out of a George A. Romeo film, for God's sake.

- The Leino move IS 'Plan-B'
- Regier & Ruff plan on using Leino as a center
- According to Regier this is the roster moving forward
