How can a team suck so badly, show no concept of how to improve, rack up #1s and still suck, and then fall head-first into McDavid.

This doesn't belong here, but fellow Canuck fans (that have to deal with McDavid in the division for the next decade) can commiserate with me.

There were two teams I was rooting against: Boston and Edmonton. I'd have been okay with ANY other team getting him.

I'm not too worried about it. Oilers haven't become nearly the threat they could be given the players they have/had. Feel bad for McDavid if anything. He is going to have to be some real special talent to overcome the adversity that lies ahead.

Pretty happy LA didn't get him either I was shocked when Edmonton won. At least we get to see him play more often.
