    Default S.Mason or Crawford

Thinking CHI resigns Crawford, who would you like longer term?

I know Mason is the better of the two, is CBJs golden boy, and has started to show better signs as of late, but you never know next year and going forward. Will he turn it around? Who knows?

However, looking at the teams, CBJ is just starting to get better and CHI is already there.

I don't even think it's close. I don't think Mason's the better of the two at all. Not short term, not long term. Mason had that unreal season a couple year's back...was it a fluke? Certainly looks like it was.

Crawford's been groomed for his #1 role, his stats are waaay better, and the team is infinitely better. I'm not so sure CBJ are ever going to get better. Mason is overweight, way too hot and cold, and quickly losing his "golden boy" image.

I'd go with Crawford 10 times out of 10.

I agree. I would take Crawford 10 out of 10 times as well. Chicago is much better defensively/offensively and Mason is way to hot and cold. Terribly inconsistent.

It is possible that Crawford is pulling off a "Mason" type rookie season and will struggle a bit in his sophmore season. But I think Chicago is too good.

    Give me Crawford

    Crawford hands down.

Even if Crawford struggles next year, he will have a much better team in front of him. Mason has been very inconsistent since his rookie year and has been pulled more than any other goalie in the league.

With Chicago tight against the cap, they will most-likely try and resign Crawford for cheap.
