Daniel Alfredsson (back) had a setback when skating on Monday. Alfredsson has missed nine straight games and he won't be available on Tuesday. The Senators are likely to err on the side of caution with Alfredsson, given that they have no hope of making the playoffs.
On the Team 1200 today they were talking about Alfie experiencing weakness in his right leg. They hinted that it could point to a more serious injury, but it's just speculation. But clearly Alfie saying this about his leg is not a good sign. As said, with nothing to gain this season I would be surprised if they weren't very cautious with his potential return.
