    Default Crawford

    Hey Justin,

Do you think Crawford can put up similar numbers for Chicago again next year?
Is there any reason you believe he may or may not suffer a sophomore slump?

I'm debating if he's a top 8 goalie for next year or not. If you feel strongly that he is, then I'll have full confidence in keeping him. If there's a cautionary flag, I may try to move him for a more proven guy, which could cost me.

As always, thanks a ton for your input.

You guess is as good as mine but I'm also inclined to believe that he can - does that make him a top 8 G though? That I don't know...here's my top 10 list for next year if it helps you:

    1. Luongo
    2. Miller
    3. Lundqvist
    4. Bryzgalov (jut a personal fav)
    5. Fleury (in a keeper)

After the top 5 it becomes cloudy but guys like Rinne, Howard, Hiller, Quick, Price, TT, and even Ward rank ahead of Crawford in my books. There may even be a few more, but all this to say that I don't think he's top 8 worthy for next year. There should be better and more reliable options.
    10-team Auction League, $160 team salary, weekly H2H, start: 6F, 4D, 1G and 5 Bench

    Scoring structure: (F : 1pt G / 1pt A / 0.15pts SOG / 0.15pts Hits / 0.15pts BlkS), (G : 5 pts W / 3 pts SO / 0.01 pts Saves)

    Forwards : Ovechkin ($43), Kessel ($20), Benn ($7), Spezza ($13), Brown ($7), Marchand ($13), Landeskog ($3), Elias ($1), Plekanec ($1),

    Defenses : Letang ($26), Visnovsky ($1), Bieksa ($1), Faulk ($2) Ehrhoff ($2)

    Goalies : Holtby ($7), Nabokov ($2)

I know there are more reliable/proven guys out there, but I highly doubt that Crawford's trade value is high enough to get them unless I give up a lot more.

He's 2nd for GAA, 7th for SV%, currently 15th for wins but sporting a 0.639 winning percentage, which is higher than any other goalie that has more wins than him.

I guess I should say, do you think stats of 35 wins, 2.25 gaa, .920 sv% are likely for him next year?
