From what I understand he wouldn't have to clear waivers like last year so this could be a possibility given they toss some young talent to the Isles. Once again the Howard owners will be tortured until he lands somewhere, I'm sure. :P

In Justin's (Goalie Guild) goalie depth charts, he mentions about Howard needing a veteran presence for at least one more year so depending on the price take why not Nabby? Again that's all speculation on my part, but who knows what Det will do now after already signing Conklin.

Nabokov will NOT have to clear waivers before being traded, see http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sport...rticle2106410/.

However, despite Mirtle's confirming with Bill Daly, one open question is whether this applies to a trade AFTER the start of the regular season (i.e., whether he would still have to go through waivers during this off-season and prior to the regular season starting). Seems to me that teh 2010/11 season was officially over the minute they handed that Cup to the Bruins, so I imagine that right now we are already in the "new season" even though the puck hasn't dropped, but I'm not sure about this.

I can confirm that Tripel is crazy, and I didn't even directly witness his being curled up in a fetal position during the last night of our fantasy hockey playoff series this year (or the similar prone position he was in during each of the final Canuck games against the Hawks, Predators, Sharks and Bruins). LOL!

    I cannot argue
Not so much Preds and Sharks though
If Nabby ends up somewhere good I may try and flog Marty to some unsuspecting fool.
Come to think of it, if Nabby goes to TB, you might fit that bill
