The answer is not Turco I have to agree with that.....he is a washed up goalie that no one wants and there is a reason for it! He is also not known as a mentor type goalie so he is not a good fit for when Reimer comes back!

We have to make a trade to get a goalie!!

    I love Phil Kessel.

Great game and Scrivens was great in OT even though he almost literaly handed win over at one point but came up big with a glove save! Kessel was incredable tonight!

    just read this on twitter:

Darren Dreger "Leafs offered a player and 2nd round pick from undisclosed team for Franson. Evidently, depth on D is highly valued in Toronto."

Good to know we have a piece garnering some attention from other clubs. I guess it depends on the player in question but that seems like a pretty good return. I really had high hopes for Franson this year but if Burke can make a move including Franson that actually improves the team short and long-term than I think he should pull the trigger.

Very interesting but yeah this would really depend on the player coming back but I do think with the emergance of Gardiner that he has become expendabel especally with Aule waiting in the wings!

Cody Franson skated with Luke Schenn for much of practice today. Looks like Jake Gardiner could be the odd man out in Nashville.

perhaps some mroe showcasing by Burke? I didnt get to see last nights game but Gardiner has been very good and deserves to keep his spot.

#Leafs Grabovski out for at least 2 weeks, MacArthur unclear, Frattin out for personal reasons but will join team in Nashville

When does the season end?... April?

Damn, we could lose out playoff spot by then

But seriously, guess who's gonna come back up now?

    Kadri and Colborne.

Time to show what you got.

EDIT : As for the Franson discussion... Franson WAS in Nashville last season, he cuold just have the chance to prove himself against his former team. Could also just be showcasing, but I'm sure that the fact the game is in Nashville has some bearing on this decision.

Id love to see Kadri and Colborne called up and see them really step up their game to the point where Wilson will have to think twice about who to send back down when everyone is healthy. Competition for roster spots and playing time is a good thing and might hopefully light a fire under some guys asses.

Honestly I hate losing Grabo too and your not going to replace him but if we get to see Kadri and Colburne for an extended look then I am at least happy for that!!

Plus side, this can keep Grabo's contract numbers down? And whoever gets sent up, hopefully Eakins can pass on a message to Wilson on how to run special teams.
