Aulie isn't a top pair guy either. Gunnarsson does a lot of things well and he's pretty underrated. Unfortunately he has had poor stretches when he's getting less ice time.

I don't think Aulie is a top parring D man either. I think he will settle in at 3 or 4 on the depth chart right were Gunner should be. FWIW I think the Leafs roster and prospects only have 3 guy's worthy of being a top pairing defense-man on a contending club and they are Phaneuf (now) and maybe Gardiner and Franson in a couple years.
Edit here: Sorry I forgot about Percy but he is 2 or 3 years minimum until he even see's a game.

I just heard on Leafs TV that Kessel has three less goals than the entire NY Rangers. The Leafs fan in me loves this. As a fantasy manager with Gabby, Callahan and Lundy I'm getting a little worried!
I know that stat is indicative of just how well Kessel is playing, but it also shows are awful the Rangers have been!
