I mean Pittsburgh has been just fine with two superstars C, i don't think that's much of a problem as long as egos are in check. As for who will be the one 1C , i'm honestly not too sure at the moment

That being said, Pittsburgh drafted their two superstar centers. They didn't bring one of them in as a free agent.

No, not at all. As I said earlier, Pittsburgh drafted their two centers. While there are similarities in having two high end centers, it's different here because you have one that was drafted to be the future (Matthews) and now you bring one in as a highly paid free agent.
I thought my question was a legit one. I am still waiting to hear someone try and answer it instead of just questioning my reasoning for asking it. It wasn't a facetious, derogatory or even insulting question and it wasn't posed that way.

I think most people assume Matthews and Tavares are both professionals, both want to win, and both will accept whatever role they are given. Neither one of them strikes me as a Dougie Hamilton type...
To be honest, I think the 2C role is very desirable....since that line will play against inferior opponents.
And I suspect both JT and AM will be on PP1.
I don't know why one would assume bringing in JT will cause problems...

I agree, both will get loads of top notch opportunities and it can be left to opposing teams to decide who the "1C or 2C" is when they set up their game plan.
