I'm going to write up some trade ideas that will hopefully be logical and probable sometime this week.

i think ryan ma hit the spot in the ramblings. trade marleau for good skill, hard worker, plays on the edge, everything opposite of marleau. okay fine marleau has good skill but what the heck.
trying to think of some guys that match that profile + that team would be interested in a marleau
I've been saying that for years. Nothing new. Everyone knows he's the first piece that needs to go.

Do you guys think we will ever see a "Patrick Marleau willing to waive NTC" on nhl.com? lol
He's willing. He said so last offseason or so. He says he's willing if that's what the team wants.

Would Caps trade Laich for Marleau?
They might as he's not really a scorer, but who knows. I'd be interested in Laich or Brouwer to be honest.

great read on Sharks 07 draft
http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article...the2007_draft/
That was a good draft for them One of the things that's always frustrated me is that we trade away our draft picks constantly. We give up 1st rounders all the time.

Not long to go now till FA kicks in. Really interested to see what we're going to do.
Unrelated note, but kinda, found out the other day that Doug Wilson Jr is playing hockey down here in Melbourne (Australia).
