i think ryan ma hit the spot in the ramblings. trade marleau for good skill, hard worker, plays on the edge, everything opposite of marleau. okay fine marleau has good skill but what the heck.

trying to think of some guys that match that profile + that team would be interested in a marleau

He's willing. He said so last offseason or so. He says he's willing if that's what the team wants.

Doubt it. Laich is pretty much the heart and soul of the caps, and basically their captain despite lacking the letter.

They might as he's not really a scorer, but who knows. I'd be interested in Laich or Brouwer to be honest.

Yeah it's a big bug bear of mine as well. Especially as we have no cup to show for it

Unrelated note, but kinda, found out the other day that Doug Wilson Jr is playing hockey down here in Melbourne (Australia).
