It's rough hearing that the Ducks could tell the Jets were an injured team right off the hop. What could have been.... Maybe the Ducks would still have won, but the Jets could have made a real series of it, considering the first 3 games could have gone either way.

Not going to happen, but the new price ranges for RFA compensation interest me. 5.5 a year only costs a team a 1+3. Want to screw the Hawks or Kings? Send Toffoli/Saad offer sheets and see them scramble.

If you're Florida, are you confident that if you got Toffoli you'd be a playoff team next year? They have the cap and they're one piece away from being a very solid team, assuming all their young guys improve next year.

Lots of teams not drafting in the top 5 can afford to offer up 5.5 in cash and two draft picks. Sorry, but I'll take Toffoli/Saad over Zacha, Crouse, Barzal, etc. And that option just gets more attractive as you go down the draft order.

arent the picks in the offer sheet going to be 2016? toffoli/saad etc aren't RFA's until july 1st unless i'm mistaken, which is after the draft. so if a team were to send an offer sheet it would be with their 2016 picks, correct me if i'm wrong.
