Apologies, but I'm not entirely sure how the IR works (rules, restrictions, etc). Since they anticipate him back within 2 weeks, will they put Pronger on the IR?
I need him there to pick up another player in the interim.

Yeah, thanks for that Ballsakic. For now I will take comfort in the fact that is was not immediately considered season (or even career) threatening/limiting.
Ugh, that was tough to watch. The fact that you could hear him screaming made it all the more gruesome. Glad to hear he's going to be OK, even though I'm not a fan of him.

A lot of talk about Pronger returning for Wed...especially on CBS updates. Any real chance of this?
What are you all hearing?
MIGHT return Wednesday - MIGHT. His conditioning is fine, but vision in his eye is still a bit blurry. Plus he's adjusting to the visor. Wednesday is sounding perhaps too optimistic, but there's a chance...

http://rotoworld.com/player/nhl/309/chris-prongerChris Pronger (eye) took part in a full practice with his teammates on Monday. It looks like he will be ready to return on Wednesday night if he gets the green light from eye spe******t Dr. Stephen Goldman. Pronger has been sidelined since Oct. 24 after getting an accidental stick to his eye. We'll keep you posted. Nov 8 - 8:19 AM
Taking part in practice is a big step, hopefully he's back in the lineup tomorrow

Fingers crossed - it was hard to watch Philly score 8 goals one game and then 9 goals another without him in the lineup. I was counting the points that should have been his in my head!
