Crosby needs a winger like the desert needs water. He has to do it all himself. Imagine he didn't? Scary.

Alfie is a consummate pro. I think he's playing hurt or something. The Sens are awful lately and that doesn't help either. That team needs a shakeup....They need to drop their Kovalevitis...Once a great player, his laziness is affecting that team IMO...

As a Flyer's fan, ...I'd just like to say that I think all this talk about aquiring a winger to play with Sidney Crosby is just totally unnesecary.

Why, it's quite obvious that in Mike Comrie, the Penguins already posess the perfect linemate for Sidney Crosby.

I think everyone should stop worrying, and trust that nice Mr. Shero's decisions.

In fact Imho the Penguin's should stop worrying about wingers alltogether, and just concentrate on trading Staal and Malkin who are obviously cancers, and are only holding Sid back.

Yes, Mr.Shero has my full trust. He's done amazing job as the GM of Pittsburgh Penguins. Adding Michalek and Martin in the summer was great job and improved the team more than signing any available top-6 wingers could have done.

Totally agree with you Fungchen...Tangradi was the first name that came to mind when I saw this thread. Ottawa would have to take a contract back due to them being up against the cap.

One small problem - Pens don't have any contract they could give back. In order to fit Alfredsson under the cap one big contract (> $3.5M) would have to go the other way. Needless to say Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Fleury, Letang, Orpik, Michalek and Martin are all out of question. That leaves only Kunitz and it doesn't make any sense for the Pens to trade Kunitz+ for Alfredsson.
